Bootcamp - FFUF

What is this Bootcamp?

In an effort to acknowledge the impressive talents of Filipinos, we have established this Bootcamp program with the goal of providing opportunities for both IT fresh graduates and those looking to shift careers. Our primary objective for this intensive three-month program is to enhance participants’ proficiency in our company’s technology stack by strengthening their programming fundamentals and their capacity to develop applications using either Flutter or Springboot Framework.

Upon completion of the Bootcamp, we will extend employment offers to the most outstanding participants, who will then receive additional training in our company’s tools, processes, and architecture. This Bootcamp has been specifically designed to cultivate the potential of individuals who may lack prior experience in our technologies, but who possess the appropriate mindset, focus, and tenacity to succeed in this industry.

Why do we have a Bootcamp?

At our organization, we utilize cutting-edge technologies that have yet to gain widespread recognition in the Philippines. As such, we have recognized the need to address the knowledge and experience gap in order to expand the pool of proficient individuals capable of handling these technologies. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals who may have been previously overlooked due to a lack of experience or relevant background.

Our Bootcamp program has been specifically designed to provide a platform for aspiring programmers to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in our company’s advanced technologies. Our ultimate objective is to contribute to the growth of the local tech industry by increasing the number of skilled programmers, and we firmly believe that Filipino developers possess a great deal of potential in this regard.

Process

Step 2

Once endorsements from schools are received, or individual applications from students, our team will conduct screening through interviews and technical exams.

Step 1

Our bootcamp is mostly offered through our internship school partners. Our team connects to schools offering IT programs with at least 600 hours of internship. Through this partnership, we hope to give access to students from different parts of the Philippines.

Step 3

Once the interviews and exams are passed, we will be conducting a final culture and motivation check in order to ensure that we have a proper fit.

Step 5

After the BootCamp, successful trainees will be deployed to real projects for further hands-on experience.

Step 4

Once accepted, the trainee will undergo a 50-day BootCamp to learn the full development cycle from gathering requirements, back-end development, front-end development, to manual testing.
